  1. I want to evaluate the blog of Kübra Sahinoglu, Kübra Gamze Şahin's blog.I choose the pictures and presentation of them. The pictures are good and appropriate for the content of the blôg. The pictures' comments are also fine. I find them interesting. They are like summary of the topic.
The presentation is stimulating and enlightening as well . But I prefer them to prepare themselves. It would be more affective and striking by this way. At last, the apperance of the blog seems good.

    1) Firstly, the order of the blog is good. There is a systematic combination in the apperance. It is simple and easy to reach the information. The list of the content was enable us to see the titles.
2)The topic is necessary to learn. It is interesting. As a striking topic, personality factors strikes me. So I chose it.
    3) THe part in the right side of the blog and the part in the article as questionnaire is not clear in my opinion. I wish I could see the results at the end of the test.So it could be more informative.but the questions provided in the link is nice and includes results.
4)The blog is fine in fact. But the presantation could be prepared by theselves. However, the content of the presentation in the bolg is also fine.
5)I like the pictures very much and find them meaningful.
6)After I read the blog article,I learned someting form the part "How do these 8 types of learners differ in the way they learn the language? What different learning styles do they have?"It was enlightening for me.
    7) That blog is similar to us in terms of being well prepared and being systematic. Additionally, reaching the information which you want to see, is fine and parallel to ours.

  2. 1- Firstly; I would like to about the blog named “Personality Factors” prepared by Ceren Taşatan, Duygu Yazıcı, Ayşenur Sağdıç and Hilal Yönet. The topic “personality” interests me therefore I chose that blog to comment on. Firstly, the appearance of the blog is very good and the organization of blog makes it easy to follow the pages. However in some pages the font size is too small to read and I had a hard time to read these texts. To start with pictures and videos part; the pictures are interesting and informative. Especially the one about self esteem is so striking. Also the comments written by the group members are also useful to understand them better. I couldn’t watch the videos but I am not sure maybe this is because of a problem with my computer. In the blog I didn’t meet any questionnaires but the poll was interesting and well-prepared. For the articles, they made short summaries of the articles and they put the link of the article as well so that if someone interested in articles can reach them easily and I think this is a good idea. As a group we didn’t come up with such an idea but I now understand that this is a more effective way to make people read the article. When you see a small passage instead of a full page article, it affects your intention of reading. What I learnt from this blog is that “language ego”. In fact I have heard of its meaning and but I don’t know that saying “language ego”. Finally, I think it is good work they have done while preparing this blog.
2- Secondly; I would like comment on the blog named “NLP& Multiple Intelligences” prepared by Şeyma Toker, Olcay Türk, M. Salih Taşdemir and Canan Yurdakul. Firstly, the blog seems very well organized and you don’t get lost among the pages. For the context, the pictures are informative and useful and you can easily understand the topic by reading small schemas on them. The survey is well- prepared and interesting. I participated in the survey and saw the results easily and also it was a short one and so it was not boring. I found the articles useful and I learnt many new things especially on NLP. Multiple intelligences are more known than NLP and so I preferred reading the articles on NLP which is a newer topic to me. In NLP, learning strategies and learning disabilities took my attention best. Also I read about “meta cognition” and I realized that I didn’t know its correct meaning. The links given on the blog are helpful for further information and it is easy to reach them. I couldn’t watch the videos I think this is because of a problem with “youtube.com”. All in all, it is a well-prepared blog and I enjoyed learning through it.

I liked mosty their questionnaires because they found really informative and helpful questions for us. Maybe they can choose another template for their blog in order to look better but its content hide this problem.

    1) It's interesting because it's about MI theory and NLP. Both subjects are kind of new for people. I also like these two subjects. My aunt gives NLP lessons and I took two lessons.
As for MI, I think that it's so important for a teacher. That's why I found the blog so interesting.
    2) The MI types are presented and we have an information about the theory. I also find the article which describes the NLP and its benefits.
    3) I couldn't watch the videos and I also couldn't understand some parts of "Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Education" because it was little bit complicated and long for a blog.
    4) I would summarize the articles rather than putting them as they are because people could get bored while reading.
    5) Pictures are great and the useful links part also very "useful" ((: and there was a test part which tells your MI type. It is also good.
    6) I knew that MI and NLP were useful for a teacher but I didn't know how to apply them in the class. Thanks to our friends' blog, I have an idea about it.
    7) It looks like our blog in terms of putting pictures, videos and some discussion question. Lastly, our "FISH" gadget is the same! We love it, too((:
However; our lay-out is different and our articles are little bit shorter. We have summary part.

  8. I chose the blog which was prepared by Ebru, Sevil Buket and Özge. Why I chose this blog to comment is that we are always loaded the notion of NLP however a few of us have the idea what it is or what it encompass. So I wanted to learn and have a deeper knowledge of NLP and their blog is:

    2) It gives info. about CLL and it's four elements of definition. We can see the competence types and have an info. about them.
    3) Some pictures are small and I couldn't read some parts and I expected some comments about the articles from the blog owners. They need some clarifications in some parts.
4)I could change the pictures. Frankly, they are not interesting and it doesn't take attention.
    5) The apperance of the blog is good and neat. It's well-organized and doesn't bother the eye.

    1) I found interesting their blog organization. That is, I liked the idea of putting the links of articles as a list on the side of the blog because readers both be aware of the content and they can reach any topic they want to learn about.
    2) I found their articles informative. The articles on the blog are very useful for readers to learn personality factors in learning second language. Also, the pictures help readers to clarify some points readers may have difficulty in understanding.
    3) Because I couldn’t watch the videos, I could have not been able to understand the topics about which they put videos. However, I didn’t live such a difficulty as they mentioned about what these videos were about and made effective summaries of them.
    4) Some articles were so small written that it was hard to read them. I would change only that problem on their blog.
    5) I liked this blog especially because I found it well organized and colorful. While looking at it, I can reach what I’m searching for without difficulty and I don’t get bored thanks to its attractive appearance.
    6) Because my group also prepared a blog on the same topic, I had already known what this topic was about. For this reason, I didn’t learn a new thing, but thanks to the articles of them, I had a chance to revise my knowledge.
    7) Their blog is similar to our blog in regard to putting pictures and videos with brief and clear summaries under them. However, the lay-outs of two blogs are different and we have a presentation explaining briefly the topic =)

    5) I really liked the organization of the blog. I can reach any kind of information I’m searching for without difficulty.

    general questions:

    1) The blogs I have chosen were really enjoyable places to learn something. Apart from information, they were donated with colorful, interesting attachments. .This kind of view is important because it makes the learning enjoyable and people learn better while they enjoy.
    2) I found the discussion questions very beneficial in terms of information. The questions were chosen well and they were a good source to evaluate myself about the information I have learned.
3)They are useful because they are providing information while presenting articles, pictures videos, questions at the same time and this enhances learning.
4)Maybe the order of information can be changed because to create a professional presentation, information should have specific hierarchy.
    5) The blogs were really prepared well and what I like best is to feel the working hands of my friends in the blogs, to know that they did these.
    6) In fact I didn’t have information about the difference between Self esteem and Self efficacy and I was informed well in the blog of Ayşenurs’.
    7) I think our preparation experience and theirs are very similar. While watching their videos, I realized that what they found hard and what they found enjoyable are similar to ours. For example choosing effective materials was a hard job for us and for them.

When I first glanced to the blog I liked its appearance, it was simple and very attractive. This is very important because if reader did not like an appearance s/he will not read it further. Then, I begun to follow the articles and read them and I liked them very much. While reading I was following the pictures and it was easy to understand, which is very important for readers.
Combination of the pictures and videos with the articles was very useful to relate given information with one another. For example, the picture of intelligences with learning styles can be very useful while reading because reader can combine information with picture.
This information was very interesting to me and I did not know tolerance can be the style in the learning. “’Tolerance for ambiguity" is another style dimension of language learning. Learning a language can be a difficult and at times ambiguous endeavor, and students who can more readily tolerate ambiguity often show the best language learning performance (see Chapelle & Roberts; 1986, Naiman, Frohlich & Todesco, 1975)”
The similar problems were in choosing the material for the blog and the problem was whether or not particular information is useful and informative enough. So, each group almost had the same problems in choosing videos as well and fit those videos with information you are providing for other people. I liked their videos and it was useful enough to understand with which problems people can face while preparing the blogs.

When I first glanced to the blog I liked its appearance, it was very attractive and the pictures take my attention and with the smile on my face I begun to read it. I think this was a clue of this blog’s owners that they challenged people using their visual attention to attract their blog. And this is very important because if reader did not like an appearance s/he will not read it further. Then, I begun to follow the articles and read them and I liked them very much. While reading I was following the pictures and it was easy to understand, which is very important for readers as well.
Combination of the pictures and videos with the articles was very useful to relate given information with one another. For example, the picture where the NLP process is described is very useful because there is a description of how NLP is working. Even beginner step students could comprehend it easily from the picture and after the reading an article will be able to accommodate information with the picture.
I very liked this blog because it was really well prepared, informative and attractive.

GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GROUP BLOGS
    1) I chose this blog because I am personally interested in society, culture and its effects on learning a secondd language. I think that you cannot seperate culture and language. So I wanted to have a look at what scientists and linguists think about it.
    2) Articles that group members chose were very infomative. Also, their videos were very clear, sümmarizing and clear.
    3) As I said before, there was no complexion, ambiguity or mishap in this blog. I understand everything clearly.
    4) Maybe, their blog and home page might be more colorful and more enjoyable. This was one of the most serious and informative blog that I read.
    5) I liked this blog's being simple and direct. There was nothing to be burden on reader.
    6) For example, “dog” is not a word that often conveys a derogatory connotation in western societies whereas “a lucky dog” in China is rarely used. And “to look like a wet rat” can be converted to “to look like a wet chicken” in Chinese cultural settings.
This information was interesting for me. I could learn sth about different cultures and I can use this in my daily life and lectures.
    7) I could not watch it.

I found this blog very interesting because I think that sociocultural elements are crucial in language learning and teaching process in terms of both teachers and students, so it made me really involved in reading this blog and working the details given in all articles and the other stuff. I think this blog is very informative for me because of its presenting some solutions to the sociocultural problems and giving details about gender differences, race and ethnicity. There is nothing which I could not get the point and understand the details because my friends dealt with every aspects of the subject. I like best about that the organization of the blog and the order of the subcategories are very well- prepared, meanly, all the materials are set properly and according to importance of the subjects. Before I read the blog entries, I didn’t know much about the sociocultural effects on the learning process, but I have learned that even gender, race and ethnicity affect this process and the steps that are supposed to be taken through the ways of learning. I didn’t come across the group video in the blog as far as I search on the net but I am sure that they also feel like us while they are preparing this blog.

I found this blog so much interesting because I am really interested in the issue ‘’ multiple intelligences’’ and what kind of intelligence is dominant for me. It really helps me to learn what kinds of strengths and weaknesses the people who are dominant in different types of intelligences have. Moreover, overall the articles are very informative about the NLP and multiple intelligences, and how teachers and students can use these skills in the class environment through the process of learning and teaching. Only thing I would like to change is the order of the entries which is, I guess, out of the information of the issue because It would be much more proper if they put articles first and the surveys and questionnaires in the later steps, so we can access the articles first. I think the questionnaires are the best things that were appealed me most because I really enjoyed myself while I was answering the questions and then found out my dominant intelligence. I learnt from this blog that I have a visual/ spatial kind of intelligence and have the ability of identifying visual things much more easily than the others. I also learnt that NLP affects our learning process and strategic thinking and an understanding of the mental and cognitive processes behind behavior specifically. The blog preparation video is telling the hardness of my friends while they were preparing this blog and their enjoyment about the process like our video blog.

I think the blog is interesting and informative.they found pictures appropriate for the topics. they are very interesting I think. and also the articles and the questionairre they prepared are very informative ones. we can easily understand the content of the subjects. also the appearance of the blog is good. at the main page there is slide show and it is beneficial for giving the topic in a nutshell. ı couldn't open some videos on the blog. it was the only problem but I wouldn't change anything in the blog, it is well prepared and they spend effort in the blog. ı liked the related pictures associated with little explanations part the best because it is very useful for understanding the topics seperately. ı think the blog is very usefull. also, the preparation process is similar to our preparation process.they had the similar problems but they went over them.
